AMAC Aerospace has signed a contract to install a Honeywell JetWave KA-Band system on a BBJ 3. An STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) for the installation of the fuselage mounted KA-Band antenna will be developed by AMAC Aerospace. This STC will be made available to the market through Honeywell. The Honeywell KA-Band system is designed to provide consistent and outstanding high-speed connectivity experience for users around the world via broadband data connectivity. This will be AMAC’s fourth KA-Band antenna STC development. AMAC Aerospace is currently developing KA-Band antenna system STCs for the aircraft types Boeing B777, Airbus A340 & BBJ.
