AMAC Aerospace’s inauguration of our second Wide Body Hangar was celebrated with flair in recognition of our honoured colleagues. 800 guests from all over the world including politicians, airport authority members, VIP’s and employees joined in the September 14 event marking yet another milestone in AMAC’s growth. AMAC is the only privately owned aviation company to achieve more exponential growth than its competitors globally. Further cause for celebration was AMAC’s receiving European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145 Approvals for the Boeing B747-400 and -8 series that was already granted for the Airbus A330 and A340 series.

The new 8’200m² hangar will serve as an AMAC Maintenance Center for privately owned and operated wide-body aircraft. Global wide body maintenance facilities for these exclusive aircraft are few and far between. We are proud to be able to offer our esteemed clientele the opportunity to experience our expert professionalism in handling and maintaining these specially conceived aircraft known for demanding considerably more attention than standard airliners. AMAC Aerospace now boasts an overall hangar floor footprint of 21’200m² our workshop space totals 5’300m². Strategic interlinking of hangars and workshops ensures superior time management and manpower allocation for our in-house projects. AMAC Aerospace has a healthy and stable back order until 2014 and we remain open for dialogue with potential clients for work beyond this point.
