AMAC Aerospace continues to progress and have successfully redelivered another wide body maintenance project with partial refurbishment for our esteemed Middle Eastern client. The Airbus A340 aircraft came to AMAC for a C8 Maintenance check. The refurbishments involved sanding down and re-varnishing all forward VIP zones, including but not limited to side-ledges, top surfaces and carpet replacements in the zones. The existing first class zone was re-configured from 2 to 3 rows, providing two additional seats in this class. The work required was extensive as AMAC carried out a re-location of the aft partitions that separate first and business class zones and which also required re-pitching business class seats. The aft of the cabin saw new storage inclusions in the economy seating area on the left hand and center areas, and right hand for charging devises such as mobile phones and iPads.

“AMAC Aerospace worked hard to ensure this project left on time after the various additional requests for work. Our engineering and production departments were very efficient in making the necessary changes and following through on all requests from the client. We are proud to see this aircraft return to service” said Bernd Schramm, AMAC Group Chief Operating Officer.
