Electrical / Avionic Engineer

Position and Responsibilities

• Support Electrical/Avionic Engineering Team Leader to build up the electrical/avionic design capability.
• Support Team Leader in developing system design standards:
  • Environmental control (air-conditioning, heating,humidification)
  • In-flight entertainment, cabin management
  • Communication and computer networks (Telephony,GSM,LAN/WLAN)
  • Satellite communication, Highspeed Data,Satellite TV
  • Power generation, supply and distribution
  • Galleys, seats, interior doors, Interior window shades
  • Smoke detection and passenger oxygen
  • Lighting
• Work independently on system designs, commission and test of electrical/avionic systems on Transport Category Aircraft for cabin completion and modification projects

Daily Activities

• Selection of equipment, components, materials
• Development of electrical wiring diagrams (CAD)
• Preparation of ground-and flight-test procedures
• Develop technical and safety and certification documentation (reports, analysis, assessments)
• Develop engineering standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Electronic Engineering degree or similar qualification required
• Design Engineering experience would be advantageous
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and CAD literacy
• Good communication skills in English
• German and/or French advantageous
• Goal-driven pro-active team player
• Dedication to quality, reliability and safety
