Manager Quality Assurance / Quality Inspector
Position and Responsibilities
- Report to the Director of Quality Assurance
- Monitor EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organisation for compliance with EASA Part-145 and EASA Part 21 Subpart G Production Organisation
Daily Activities
- Ensure that AMAC follows Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and Production Organisation Exposition (POE) procedures
- Check that adequate standards, procedures and safety precautions for the performance of aircraft maintenance and manufacturing activities are established and that the Management Team constantly ensures their compliance and necessary improvements.
- Liaise, actively support and attend audits of FOCA, Competent Authorities, EASA and other Aviation Authorities
- Establish effective audit checklists
- Review and amend the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), Production Organisation Exposition (POE), Capability List, procedures (handbooks, process specification, technical instructions) and forms.
- Daily inspection of facility, workshops and ongoing maintenance and production activities
- Follow-up on occurrences and root-cause analyses as per AMAC’s Safety-Management System (SMS)
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Several years practical experience in aviation maintenance and/or production
- Several years experience in quality assurance and/or quality inspection-related functions
- Active or former holder of Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Detailed knowledge of EASA Regulations Part 145, Part M and/or Part 21 Subpart G, and Advisory and Guidance Materials
- Able to establish and write handbooks, procedures, technical instructions and audit reports
- Possessing the “soft skills” to handle audit situations and auditees under stress
- Very good communication skills in English and an additional language (French or German)
