AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Bodrum, was entrusted with a redelivery project involving seven Airbus A320 aircraft. They are pleased to announce that the fifth aircraft has now been completed, with the final two in the last stages of maintenance.
This extensive project included a comprehensive 12-year inspection. As part of the maintenance and redelivery scope, the aircraft were fully repainted, and numerous components were removed, inspected, and reinstalled. These included the galleys, lavatories, thrust reversers, landing gear and both engines in order to allow access to the fuel tanks. Lastly, the fuel tanks themselves were also removed and reinstalled as part of the procedure.
Additionally, cargo compartment components were dismantled and reinstalled, and parts were sent to the shop for repair.
