A long term customer sent their Dassault Falcon F2000 to AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s facility in Istanbul for an 12-month and 800 flight hour annual inspection. During the inspection, the team discovered that the aircraft had corrosion in the nose landing gear bores. After contacting Dassault, AMAC Aerospace Turkey removed all corrosion as recommended by the manufacturer. Non-destructive testing (NDT) was then performed in order to verify the cleanliness. Finally, the Emergency Vision Assurance System (EVAS) units were replaced with serviceable ones due to component task necessities.
