In mid-February, AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Istanbul, performed a non-routine line maintenance on a Dassault Falcon F8X. The aircraft arrived at Atatürk Airport with a fuel gauge measure failure. AMAC Aerospace was in contact with Dassault Falcon regarding the failure and followed the manufacturer’s recommendations for rectification. The fuel tank was vented and the removed components were cleaned.
The European customer, who regularly visits AMAC Aerospace in Istanbul, Bodrum and Basel, was pleased with the work performed and no further failures have been observed since the aircraft was returned to service.
