AMAC Aerospace Turkey Istanbul welcomed 2x Dassault Falcon 2000 series aircraft for line maintenance at the end of November. One of the aircraft was a long term customer’s Dassault Falcon 2000S. This was the aircraft’s first maintenance with this operator and new registration number after undergoing a comprehensive PPI inspection at AMAC Aerospace in the summer.
Several out-of-phase system servicing tasks were performed, as well as a 2-month inspection and operational tests. In addition, the systems were serviced and the electronic database was updated to the latest cycles.
The second aircraft was a Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy belonging to a new customer. The operator reported an auxiliary power unit (APU) failure and the aircraft came in for troubleshooting. The APU thermocouple was found to be damaged, so a new part was installed.
