During mid-November, AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Istanbul, completed several line maintenance activities on Dassault Falcon 2000 and 2000EX EASy aircraft.
On a classic Falcon 2000 aircraft of a long term customer, a failure of the IRS (Inertial Reference System) warning light was observed. It was found that the IRS standby battery was faulty and a battery replacement was performed at AMAC Aerospace’s shop that same day. The aircraft was released the following day.
Another Dassault Falcon 2000 of the classic series came to AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Istanbul, because an autopilot system failure was observed from time to time and the elevator servomotor cable tension needed to be adjusted. AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s team conducted a troubleshooting on the aircraft and replaced the servomotor.
AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s Istanbul team also replaced the main landing gear wheel with a spare unit on a Falcon 2000EX EASy series aircraft. They also found that the dome light was not working and the power supply card was faulty, which they replaced.
