Many aircraft have recently undergone line maintenance activities at AMAC Aerospace’s hangars in Istanbul, Turkey. One such aircraft was a Dassault Falcon 2000 belonging to a new customer, which came in for an engine change. After having a loan engine installed during the original engine’s repair, the aircraft received its original engine back from the shop, allowing AMAC Aerospace’s experienced team to replace it and perform the necessary assurance runs. During the process, it was found that some spools and the engine extinguisher outlet pipe were damaged, so these were replaced. In parallel, one of the engine indication electronic display (EIED) screens was replaced, the hydraulic reservoirs were serviced, the engine oil was changed, and the forward galley sink strainer was cleaned.

A Dassault Falcon 900DX came in for a pneumatic door actuator replacement, an engine starter generator brush check, and several out-of-phase tasks for the flashlights, tires, and database updates. In addition, digital electronic engine control (DEEC) troubleshooting was performed, revealing a faulty wiring harness which was replaced.

A privately owned Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy underwent a general visual inspection (GVI) and a steering system check. The servo valve and main wheel brake were replaced. Next, a Dassault Falcon 7X arrived. The aircraft underwent a data transfer unit (DTU) configuration setup due to an owner and contract change.

AMAC Aerospace’s team also provided support for a long term customer’s Dassault Falcon 2000S. During a post-flight inspection, hydraulic leakage was observed on an aileron actuator. Therefore, the aileron servo actuator was replaced with a serviceable unit.
