AMAC Aerospace continues to invest in its engineering department in Basel, Switzerland, and is proud to have one of the largest aviation engineering hubs in Europe. As part of AMAC Aerospace’s investment of the engineering department, a new, purpose-built engineering facility was inaugurated this summer.
With over 160+ engineers now based onsite, AMAC Aerospace operates one of the largest aviation engineering departments in Europe.
The engineering department plays a central role in developing and certifying complex aircraft modifications, cabin refurbishments and system upgrades at AMAC Aerospace. So far this year, the team has delivered over 160+ approved modifications and has 50+ more ongoing. These include 12 Major Changes (Supplemental Type Certificates) ranging from antenna installations to full “Cabin Interior Outfitting’s”.
