AMAC Aerospace were proud to have re-delivered a Boeing B747 after a heavy-base maintenance input and substantial refurbishment work. The Head of State aircraft came to Basel for a Ka-Band installation. In parallel, AMAC’s experts installed a Self-Defense System (SDS) and performed Service Bulletins (SBs). While AMAC’s Boeing technicians were performing a 72-month inspection package, the completion team was busy with upgrading the cabin interior, seats, divans, carpets and miscellaneous soft goods were replaced or refurbished. Mid-May, the aircraft of the long-term customer could go back on its missions according to plan.
