Position and Responsibilities

Independent administration of the financial accounting of our subsidiary AMAC Corporate Jet. This includes the following main tasks (70%):

  • Verification & processing of the supplier invoices
  • Data input / data maintenance / record of invoices into system (Abacus)
  • Issuing of invoices to customers
  • Contact with customers, suppliers as well as with head offices in connection with accounting issues
  • Various administrative activities and support of the whole team
  • Verification and recharging of expenses of the Flight Crew
  • Preparation of monthly closing and annual financial statements (including reporting to group accounting)
  • Preparation of local budget and business plan
  • Preparation of VAT-Declarations
  • Assisting with various accounting tasks

Additional Controlling tasks (30%)

  • Support in monthly group closing procedures
  • Maintain and monitor essential operative system-interfaces for material and working hours
  • Preparation of various financial reports
  • Advancement of Business Intelligence Tools
  • Support various financial projects

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • commercial education and at least two years’ work experience within finance / accounting
  • Federal Diploma trustee/accountant or equivalent education desirable (or in training)
  • German and English, fluent (spoken and written)
  • MS-Office and Abacus knowledge would be an advantage
  • Service-oriented personality with high self-initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • teamwork skills: assertiveness, resilience, reliability and flexibility

  • located at our office in Basel and two days in Kloten (location of AMAC Corporate Jet)
