Job Description
Position and Responsibilities
- Responsible to be familiar with and comply with the company’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and Design & Production Organisation Exposition (DOE and POE).
- Responsible to follow AMAC’s Process Specification concerning general procedures for receiving goods, supplying parts and tools to production and exporting parts
- Support the director of Purchasing and Logistics, Supervisor Logistics and all Logistics Team leaders in the area of stores, tooling, import and export
- When necessary, support the department director with statistics that allow the steering of procurement and the optimization of processes in the correct direction
- Comply with the AMAC internal software (AMOS)
- Respect cleanliness of stores facilities
- Contact and liaison with various internal departments
- Contribution to the work balance within the logistics department
Daily Activities Import
- Unload of deliveries and verification of correct custom clearance paper work and formulas
- Unpacking and quality control of incoming parts including physical inspection and documentation control
- AMOS bookings
- Delivery of incoming parts to production or storage
- Follow up of quarantine zone
- Correct storage of parts
- Scan of documents and correct labelling
- Management of customer supplied parts
Daily Activities Tools and Ground Support Equipment
- Unpacking and quality control of incoming tools and ground support equipment (GSE) physical inspection and documentation control
- AMOS bookings
- Picture documentation of tools in AMOS and management of physical tool catalogue
- Update of requirements in AMOS
- Follow up and maintenance of tools due for calibration and shelf life
- Issue repair orders find the appropriate repair station
- Administration of AMAC Tool boxes
- Administration of AMAC working uniforms
- Management of customer tools
Daily Activities Front Desk / Counter Service
- Prepare pick slip order for production and maintenance
- Provide tools to the production
- Return parts unused from production to store
- Check returned tooling for any damage or misuse and report any damage or misuse to the tooling group
- Management of store qty level between EAP and CITY
- Management of store locations Qty & classifications
- Inventory control
- Stock management to allow the correct and necessary re-order of parts in accordance to company guidelines
- Monitoring and optimum control of life limited and shelf limited parts
- Kit build as per production requirements
- Monitor vendor and customer consignment stocks
- Monitor storage conditions including temperature control
Daily Activities Export
- Monitoring of parts on unserviceable shelf
- Packing of aircraft parts, raw material and miscellaneous items for export as per industry norms
- Preparation of export documentations and formulas and pro-forma invoices
- Shipping dangerous goods according IATA regulations
- Organize transportation using different methods
- Monitoring of outgoing shipment to ensure delivery to final destination
- Follow up of correct custom clearance procedures
- Management of the scrap material
- Management of customer exported items
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge within logistics area
- Aircraft parts / Spare parts knowledge would be an advantage
- Very good English skills, verbal and written
- French knowledge would be an advantage
- Ambitious and amiable
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Good Knowledge of MS-Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- AMOS knowledge would be an advantage
- Stress tolerance
