Position and Responsibility
- Ensure feasibility of Request for Quotations (RFQs) in technical and planning
matters - Liaise with Engineering and Production departments to estimate Man-hours
requirements - Liaise with Purchasing Department to request Vendor Price for LRU’s,
equipment and materials - Carry out a physical survey of aircrafts to prepare detailed and accurate
Engineering Quotations - Prepare Engineering Quotations and ensure timely delivery to Sales
department - Collaborate and coordinate with Engineering management to review and
approve Engineering Quotations before submission to Sales - Monitor and update status of ongoing Request for Quotations
- Assist in planning and scheduling Modification Engineers’ workload
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Applicable Electronic/Electrical degree or similar qualification
- Understanding of EASA PART 21 G & J
- Aviation experience with the following cabin related and avionics systems would be an advantage:
o Environmental control
o In-flight entertainment and cabin management
o Satcom
o Power generation, supply and distribution
o Water and waste
o Lighting
o Monument
o Smoke detection and passenger
- Very good communication in English (verbal and written). French, German or
any additional language would be an advantage - Ability to read and interpret documents such as RFQs and statements of work
- Ability to work in tight deadlines and multi-tasking on various projects
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment with changing priorities
- Ability to work autonomously within established procedures and practices
- Ability to focus on both the small and important details
- Proficient with MS Office packages
