Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Technical Support: Provide technical advice and resolve issues related to engineering and construction.
- Supervision: Supervise subcontractors, team members, and other on-site staff.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
- Health and Safety: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of construction progress, changes, and other relevant information.
- Resource Management: Ensure effective use of materials and resources, minimizing wastage.
- Scheduling: Ability to develop, control and monitor project schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or related engineering field.
- Experience: Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in large-scale projects like hangars.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools. Primavera is a plus.
- PMP Certificate is a plus.
- Languages: Technical English level skill is a must.
Daily Tasks:
- Setting out, surveying the site, and checking designs and drawings for accuracy.
- Supervising contractors and ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Providing technical advice and solving on-site problems.
- Coordinating with clients and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
