About the job:
We are seeking an experienced Quality and SMS Supervisor to join our team at AMAC Aerospace Turkey. The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with applicable aviation safety regulations and in the effective implementation of safety processes to maintain a safe aircraft maintenance environment. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in compliance monitoring and aviation safety who is eager to support our commitment to safety excellence. You will work closely with various departments to foster a strong compliance and safety culture, support management in decision-making through data-driven insights, and play a key role in preparing for audits and inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality and Safety Manager with the effective implementation and execution of the AMAC’s approved Compliance Monitoring and Safety processes accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure that safety and compliance policies and procedures are followed and communicated effectively.
- Monitor and assess safety performance through data collection, trend analysis, and key safety performance indicators (SPIs), identifying areas for improvement and reporting to management.
- Prepare compliance and safety reports, documentation, and presentations for management and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct regular compliance and safety audits, inspections, and investigations of incidents and near-misses; ensure that corrective actions are identified and completed promptly.
- Develop and coordinate the delivery of safety training programs for all staff, promoting awareness and understanding of safety principles and practices.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in aviation maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in compliance monitoring and safety management within an aviation environment, preferably within a Part 145 Maintenance Organization.
- Previous certification and experience as an internal compliance auditor is a plus.
- A recognized qualification in aviation safety, risk management, or a related field (SMS certification is highly desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in safety reporting and documentation.
- Commitment to fostering a positive safety and compliance culture within the organization.
