Position and Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain achieved Aviation Authority approvals
  • Expected to be familiar with and comply with the company’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
  • Performing the required structural support work as per authorization in the personal license and company approvals as per EASA Part.145 (knowledge of Part.21 production work is an advantage)
  • Is able to understand technical documentation such as OEM SRM’s
  • Assist maintenance, required repair and certification of aircraft repair schemes
  • Ensures that all structural and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with corresponding manuals and ensures that such activities are correctly documented
  • Support the ordering of required tools and other equipment needed as per company capability list concerning Part.145 and Part.21 production work
  • Support in establishing the list for the required spare parts, consumables and tooling for the Structures Shop when requested
  • Works to support the Maintenance Department following necessary requirements
  • Ensures that the required administrative and operational steps are taken to guaranty an adequate technical support in line with that set in the standards of the MOE
  • Coordinates the in time availability, ordering and shipment of the required materials and parts with the responsible Engineering and Purchasing & Logistics teams
  • Perform other duties which are given by superior
  • Support engineering in the evaluation, analysis and repairs required during maintenance inputs
  • If required, assists by entering the computer data and researches technical requirements for assigned work
  • Ensure that all manuals assigned to the departments in charge are kept up to date
  • Ensures that safety has the highest value in all activities and endeavors

 
Qualifications and Experience

  • Appropriately qualified structures qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an aviation structural repair environment
  • Knowledge of EASA Part.145 regulations
  • A thorough understanding of aircraft structures, materials and associated processes regarding all necessary documentation
  • Knowledge of the use of SRM’s (Boeing and/or Airbus)
  • Flexibility to work on short notice and/or outside of normal working hours in order to accommodate and support Maintenance and/or Production departments to achieve targets
  • Comprehensible in English
  • Good communication and organizational skills
