A Gulfstream aircraft arrived in Basel, Switzerland for a 96-month check. AMAC technicians performed an annual inspection on the Gulfstream IV for general visual and system checks, such as hydraulics, electrical and avionics. The engines were due for a mid-life inspection and shipped for overhaul.
In parallel, the cabin interior was refurbished; all seats were removed so that the new foam structure manufactured by AMAC could be installed and fitted with a new leather covering including the VIP standard. In addition, two sofas were replaced with a new AMAC interior design. Finally, the carpeting in the cabin was replaced with a new product to match the new design. After the successful maintenance and refurbishment, the aircraft was released for operations again.
