AMAC Aerospace continues to handle several Gulfstream projects. One project is a long-term customer’s GIV, which is currently undergoing heavy repair. The aircraft’s full cabin has been removed and installation for refurbishing of the woodwork is taking place. In addition, both engines have been removed and sent to the shop for a mid-life inspection. After the shop visit they will be reinstalled. Based on findings by the team, they will also perform various major wing repairs.
During its stay at AMAC Aerospace, the aircraft will undergo a large base maintenance- and a 72-month inspection including aircraft and flight control structural inspection.
This is one of several ongoing projects keeping AMAC Aerospace’s hangars busy in Basel.
