A VVIP Head-of-State Airbus A319 aircraft has been awarded to AMAC Aerospace, to perform a 12 years inspection in Basel, Switzerland.
The extensive maintenance contract has been awarded to AMAC Aerospace in conjunction with a partial cabin refurbishment, such as the refurbishment of soft materials in the cabin and various upgrades.
AMAC’s highly specialized Airbus team will perform the 12 years inspection under consideration that the inspection requires the whole VVIP cabin to be removed in order to get access to the aircraft structure(s).
“Our undisclosed customer appreciates the experience that we have on this extensive maintenance input” said Mr. Alexis Ott, Senior Manager Sales & Key Account of AMAC Aerospace. “This A319 VVIP aircraft will be our 7th Airbus aircraft since 2007 to carry out a 12 years extensive maintenance input and cabin removal and re-installation at our facilities in Basel, Switzerland” he added.
